About Mark Heath
My name is Mark Heath. I am a graphic designer, illustrator and classically trained artist with over 30 years experience. I have worked in Baltimore, Maryland and New York City and now live in Chatham, Virginia.
My company is a full service graphic design and illustration company. Our services include corporate identity packages, logos, brochures, menus, posters, architectural rendering, murals, and formal portraits, both people and animal. Mark is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and is of Eastern Cherokee ancestry. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from The Maryland Institute College of Art in 1974. From 1974 to 1978, Mark received valuable experience as Design and Artistic Director for The Becker Corporation, Inc. (later to become The Becker Group, Inc.), which at that time was the display directors for such large companies as Walt Disney Productions, Bobs Merrill Corporation, Warner Brothers Corporation, Hanna Barbara Corporation and Peanuts (Charles Shultz).
In 1978, Mark accepted a position with W. B. Donor Advertising, Inc. as Junior Art Director and In-House Illustrator. For the next four years Mark gained valuable experience working on such accounts as McDonalds, Roy Rogers Restaurants, National Beer, Colt 45, Touborg, the Army and Air National Guard, and The Baltimore Orioles, just to name a few.
In 1981, after four years in the advertising business, Mark decided to start his own Graphic Design and Illustration Studio, R. Mark Heath Illustrations, Inc. Some of the design and illustration projects over the next nine years included such companies as:

Mark returned to The Becker Group, Inc. (formerly The Becker Corporation, Inc.) in 1990. From 1990 to 1995, Mark received more valuable experience as the member of a team of Senior Creative Directors. By this time The Becker Group, Inc. had become one of the worlds leading seasonal display and design companies in the United States.
In the position of Senior Creative Designer, Mark was involved in the concept, design, illustration, presentation, sales, production management and installation supervision of custom seasonal displays for National and International, Corporate and Commercial Clients.
